Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A in China yesterday. The phone will be available exclusively through Mi.com starting from CNY 699. These devices offers great value for money but here are the 5 Drawbacks of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A
1. Not backlited navigation button
As this device doesn’t have on screen navigation button I thought they will add backlit navigation buttons. But unfortunately, they did not add any backlit button. So it might create a problem for some new users.It will make another point not to buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A.
2. No IR blaster
Xiaomi this time did not give an IR blaster sensor. As you know if it had IR sensor then you could use this device as a remote control. For this price, Xiaomi could add an IR blaster that would give it some extra points.
3. Slightly Underpowered Processor
Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes with a SnapDragon Processor which is great. But It’s stander variant comes with a basic quad-core Snapdragon Chipset which is Snapdragon 425! For this budget, Snapdragon 425 is not a value for the price. So if you have plans to play games, this will be not the best device. On the other hand, we have Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A High-End version which comes with a Snapdragon 435 which is good. But still, snapdragon 435 is not built for gaming or hardcore usage.
4. Finger Print sensor
Yes, I know the higher variant have a fingerprint sensor but skipping the sensor on stander edition is not fair at all. We know Xiaomi for giving cool features for low price. To be honest I was expecting a fingerprint sensor on the basic or stander edition.
There is nothing wrong with 3080mAh battery but if we take a look last few device Xiaomi redmi note device we will notice all of them came with a 4000 mAh battery. Though the processor (Snapdragon 425) has low power usage tendency.
